Learn all about reptiles, amphibians, mammals and birds from a dynamic team of Naturalists. You will learn about animal survival and behavior, diet, special skills and body movements. Come with questions and be ready to pet some of the animals!

About the event

WNC Animal Scholar series promises to educate and inspire our community in the wide-ranging fields and topics related to animal behavior, animal survival and welfare, animal adoptions and how we can meaningfully live beside animals.

Generally, events are 1-1.5 hours in length. Scholars and Presenters are chosen on their ability to well-connect with the community. Making knowledge reachable and accessible to all attending. Fees range from $15-$20/event.

The Series begins Sunday, March 27th, 2022 from 12:30p-2:00pm: What Motivates a Kangaroo? Those registered are in for a real treat! This event will open you to exciting new graduate research by a Weinberg Naturalist and the world of red kangaroos. You will learn new and time-proven ways how to greet our visiting red kangaroo ambassador. So much more!
