JOB POSTING: 

 

1.We are accepting applications for a part-time Naturalist Educator to present environmental programs off-site in local schools (75%) and on-site at the Nature Center-- special events and classes (25%). Must have 4 years experience in environmental education on the early childhood level. Must well embrace animal presentations and basic husbandry practice and be willing to present small exotic animals. You have at least a BA in Education, Environmental Science or related field.

2. We are accepting applications for Summer Naturalists to help out in Scarsdale Camps (July 2024) and August Animal Visions.

VOLUNTEERS:

Volunteering is a great way to learn a new trade, meet new people and gain a feeling of accomplishment.  Weinberg Nature Center is continuously recruiting teenagers, adults and seniors to become a part of our volunteer family.

 

We seek people to lend a hand with animal care, summer camp, programs & events, marketing & social networking, landscaping/gardening, and trail maintenance. Prior experience is not necessary for these positions. Other positions requiring experience include marketing, social networking, grant-writing and fundraising.
